Volunteer With Soul Sisters

At Soul Sisters, volunteers are the heartbeat of our mission. Whether you have a few hours to spare or are looking to make a long-term commitment, your time and skills can make a profound difference in the lives of those affected by domestic abuse. By joining our team as a volunteer, you become a crucial part of our effort to empower individuals and create a world free from fear.

Why Volunteer with Soul Sisters?

  • Make a Real Impact: Your efforts directly contribute to the support and services we provide to survivors, helping them rebuild their lives and regain their confidence.

  • Learn and Grow: Volunteering with us offers a unique opportunity to develop new skills, gain valuable experience, and expand your knowledge in areas like advocacy, community outreach, and fundraising.

  • Be Part of a Community: As a volunteer, you’ll join a passionate and supportive community dedicated to making a positive change. You’ll meet like-minded individuals and build meaningful connections.

There are several ways you can contribute as a volunteer at Soul Sisters:

  • Community Outreach: Help us spread awareness about domestic abuse by participating in community events, distributing informational materials, or assisting with educational workshops.

  • Fundraising Support: Assist with our fundraising efforts by organising events, helping with online campaigns, or reaching out to potential donors. Your creativity and enthusiasm can help us reach our annual goal of £161,521.68.

  • Event Planning: If you enjoy organizing and coordinating events, consider volunteering to help plan our virtual and in-person fundraising events, such as webinars, charity drives, and social media campaigns.

  • Advocacy and Policy Work: Join our advocacy team to help drive legislative and policy changes that protect and empower survivors of domestic abuse.

  • Administrative Support: Provide essential behind-the-scenes support, such as managing databases, coordinating volunteer schedules, or assisting with grant applications.

  • Training and Support: We provide comprehensive training and ongoing support to ensure you feel confident and capable in your volunteer role.

  • Flexible Commitment: Whether you can volunteer regularly or just on occasion, we offer flexible opportunities to fit your schedule.

  • Recognition and Appreciation: We value our volunteers and recognise their contributions through regular appreciation events, certificates of service, and the opportunity to advance within the organisation.
